HANDGUN RANGE

HANDGUN SAFETY VETTING COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a 3 hour course designed to review basic safety principles of handling a firearm, manipulation, procedures, equipment needed and use. At the end of the class each individual shooter will be evaluated for proficiency with their handgun, safety and range procedures, SOP, rules and restrictions, as well as knowledge of operation and parts, and ability to clear malfunctions, etc.

Successful completion of a vetting class will allow the shooter to draw from the holster as well as shooting on the move (depending on the number of people on the range at that time). Additionally, vetting will grant the shooter access to both the steel plate rack range and the scenario range. These ranges are especially beneficial to those who are interested in or already competing in competitive shooting events such as IDPA or USPSA. The scenario range can be set up to mimic stages of a competition. Paper and steel targetry is available for the scenario range.

Class can be done one on one or as a group.

COURSE COST:   $100.00

HANDGUN HAPPINESS

Wanting to simply work on the basics of your handgun skills, prepare to take a license to carry or just simply burn off stress? Our range is set for that.
Competitive shooter? Our range layout provides a unique training opportunity for you. Here you can do more than just shoot at paper. With successful completion of the vetting course (accomplished in just a few hours), you can shoot steel, draw from the holster, shoot on the move and even set up** mock IDPA, USPSA or IPSC stages.
** Additional fees may apply.
